Mojácar Council, in collaboration with the Almería Provincial Council and the Crash Music production company, presented “Mojácar 5 Estrellas” (Mojácar 5 Stars), a unique event which promises to become a cultural and gastronomic benchmark for autumn. This event, which will take place on the 19th of October, seeks to unite two of the most appreciated pleasures: music and gastronomy, in a privileged environment such as Mojácar.
Mojácar, known for its rich history, its fantastic beaches and its vibrant culture, is preparing to host an unprecedented event. ‘Mojácar 5 Estrellas’ is not just a festival, but a celebration of everything that makes this locality unique. With the participation of internationally renowned chefs and top-level musical artists, the event promises a multi-sensory experience that will further enhance Mojácar’s prestige as a quality tourist destination.
The Mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, highlighted the relevance of this event for the development and positioning of the locality at a national and international level. “With the inauguration of ‘Mojácar 5 Estrellas’ we take a firm step towards consolidating our locality as a benchmark in quality tourism. This event not only reflects the essence and charm of Mojácar, but also puts us on the map as a destination that combines tradition and modernity. We are committed to offering unique experiences which attract visitors from all over the world, and I am sure that this event will be a fundamental pillar in our growth and international projection,” the Mayor affirmed.
During the official presentation of the poster, which took place at the exclusive Macenas Mediterranean Resort in Mojácar, the mayor was accompanied by the municipal corporation, who expressed their unanimous support for this initiative that promises to put Mojácar at the forefront of the region’s cultural and gastronomic offer.
On the gastronomic side, the event will feature the participation of Javier Torres from Cocina Hermanos Torres (three Michelin Stars), Dani Muñoz from Restaurante Travieso in Almería, representatives of Euro-Toques España, and local chef Damián González from Restaurante Arcilla, part of the Macenas Mediterranean Resort. Live cooking will take place in parallel with the musical performances, creating a perfect pairing for those attending.
The musical menu will include Sidecars, a reference in Spanish pop-rock; Funambulista, with their characteristic signature pop; María Yfeu, who fuses pop, jazz and Brazilian music; and a DJ session by Ángel Carmona, a well-known music journalist from Televisión Española and Radio 3.
The provincial deputy María Luisa Cruz highlighted the importance of events of this scale to consolidate Almería as a land of culture: “This festival is not only a celebration of music and culture, but also an opportunity to highlight the importance of Mojácar on the cultural and tourist map. Events like this have a significant impact on our land, boosting the economies of the municipality and the region and attracting visitors from all over with the great incentive of breaking seasonality.”
